Excited to announce that I have been asked to present a webinar on ADHD to people in the Veterinary profession. I was completely unaware that the Veterinary profession has the highest rates of Suicide and Suicidal Idealisation than any other profession. As a result the Mind Matters Initiative from the Royal College of Veterinary Surgeons is running a series of webinars for them to promote mental health and explore the factors that may contribute to these awful numbers of deaths and how they can help. Exploring the possibility of links between Neurodiversity and the Vet world being a factor is something that is being considered and explored at the moment by the industry.
